Embrace the first stirrings of spring with this invigorating Moved hike, from historic Wye to vibrant Folkestone.
Meeting at Wye Station at 10:00 am, we’ll make our way out of town and up onto the North Downs Way, traversing the undulating chalk landscape until we glimpse the glittering English Channel on the horizon. We’ll then dip down into charming Folkestone Harbour, where we can finish our hike with a well-earned drink.
This is a challenging hike, due to the distance and moderate elevation, and there are no early “jumping-off” points or amenities on the route. So, bring lunch, snacks and plenty of water for the day.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Weather-appropriate clothing, including a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses if it’s a warm day
