Spend a day in the splendour of the Kent Downs, enjoying sweeping views and historic sites, with this Leeds Castle trail.
Meeting at Hollingborne Station at 10:30 am, we’ll head for the breathtaking Kent Downs on this beautiful circular, blending expansive vistas, quintessential countryside, swathes of woodland and a touch of history. It’s hilly terrain, so we’ll be able to give our pre-spring legs a good stretch! And the highlight of the trail is, of course, Leeds Castle—a spectacular historic site, built in 857.
There’s a smattering of cute pubs on the route, so we may have time to stop for refreshments. But please bring lunch, snacks and at least 2 litres of water for the day.
