Share some festive warmth with Moved this December, as we walk from Faversham to Whitstable — perusing the ancient town’s Christmas market before making our way out to the coast.
Meeting at Faversham Station at 10:30 am, we’ll head to the old market square for a spiced-something-or-other before following the trail out of town along the wild and windy marshes until we reach the sea. We’ll revel in wintry views out to Sheppey and along the coastline, eventually reaching the shingle beaches of Seasalter and Whitstable, where we finish our walk.
Whitstable is my favourite little seaside spot. And it’s particularly pretty through December — all strung up with fairy lights. So, let’s celebrate the upcoming holidays with a festive drink or two and maybe even a late, oh-so-Christmassy, chippy lunch!
