Spend a hazy, high-summer day meandering through the rolling rural Kent landscape on this beautiful 25km circular Moved hike.
Meeting at Charing Station at 10:30 am, we’ll head out into the countryside to begin our gorgeous hike. Our trail takes us through picture-perfect open farmland, ready to burst with its late-summer bounty, through tiny old-world villages peppered with ancient churches and alongside gentle bubbling streams.
Though there are some rolling hills, the terrain isn’t too tough. But, for those who fancy a shorter hike, there’s the option to jump on a train at Lenham—roughly halfway.
This is a big old hike across uneven—though not too taxing—terrain, and we’ll be out in the sticks most of the day. So, come prepared with lunch, snacks and at least two to three litres of water. There are a few pubs en route, however, so we might have a moment to pause for refreshments if we’re making good time.
