Join Moved and Yoke Studio & Cafe, Folkestone, as we celebrate summer with this stunning half-day hike and yoga retreat—complete with coffee, snacks and a beautiful, two-course brunch!
Held both in Yoke’s sublime studio and outdoors in the wilds of the White Cliffs, we’ll spend the morning together in reinvigorating movement.
Our half-day retreat will blend:
- An energetic, early-morning yoga flow
- Hardlines coffee & ‘Ramblejack’—Yoke’s healthful and delicious take on the good ole’ flapjack
- A 3-hour guided hike between Folkestone and Dover
- A nourishing plant-based brunch | healthy homemade granola to start, followed by halloumi or avocado and vegetable rosti prepared by Ollie
N.B. Please let us know if you’d prefer a vegetarian or vegan brunch.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- 7:50 AM - Meeting Yoke Studio & Cafe, we’ll get ready to begin our energetic 8 AM flow to awaken our bodies and senses.
- 9:00 AM - With coffee steaming in our cups and snacks in our hands, we’ll head for the clifftops bridging Folkestone and Dover, rambling through the rugged wilds of Folkestone Warren. Immersed in nature, we can pause to enjoy our sweet, nutritious Ramblejacks overlooking the English Channel. We’ll then return to Yoke for some well-earned brunch.
- 12:00 PM - Brunch is served.
- 1:00 PM - Depart for home—or meander through town and head for the beach if you have time to spare!
WHAT TO WEAR
As this is a summer hike, it’ll likely be warm. So wear lightweight, comfortable clothing that you can move easily in. But do bring layers if it’s looking changeable. And, as always in the UK, be prepared for showers. Comfy trainers should be fine for this walk.
