Join Moved as we hike back to the Sea Scrub Sauna on this high-summer Saturday. But this time, we’ll luxuriate in an extended, 90-minute private session at Macknades in Faversham — reserved exclusively for Moved. Then, afterwards, we’ll enjoy pizza or tacos and sip on cocktails or mocktails at Macknades’ Food Village.
Meeting at Faversham Station, we’ll make our way through the historic town and into the wild landscape of Oare Marshes, where we’ll enjoy a circular route of around 8.5 km of easy, flat walking. We’ll then make our way back into town and on to our finish line at Macknades.
Once there, we’ll indulge in 90 minutes of pure, sauna-based luxury overlooking the lush surrounding countryside. With the option to take a cold plunge and a soak in the hot tub, too, we’ll leave feeling well and truly pampered.
Afterwards, we’ll head to the Food Village for either tacos or pizza, complemented by delicious cocktails or mocktails — not included in the ticket fee.
VERY LIMITED SPACES - This time around, the sauna can only accommodate nine bookings. So grab your ticket early to avoid missing out.
WHAT TO EXPECT
12:15 PM - Meet at Faversham train station, where we’ll begin our hike
3:45 PM - Arrive at Sea Scrub Sauna Macknades and indulge in a private sauna, cold plunge and hot tub
5:30 PM - Head to the Food Village for pizza/tacos, cocktails or mocktails! (not included)
7 PM - Finish

WHAT TO WEAR
As this is a summer hike, it should be warm. But it’s best to bring a layer for after our sauna, and be prepared for showers. Comfy trainers should be fine for this hike, but if it’s wet, you may want to wear waterproof hiking boots instead.
WHAT TO BRING
A swimming costume - changing rooms and showers are available at SSS
A lightweight towel
A bag (plastic or packable tote) to put your wet things in, post-sauna
At least two litres of water
Some lunch & any snacks you might need during our hike
Flip-flops (optional)
There are cold, outdoor showers at Sea Scrub Sauna.
Please note: Tickets are non-refundable. But, with enough notice, we may be able to transfer your ticket to another event.
