Prepare for the festive season with the ultimate pre-Christmas pause: a half-day, 16 km coastal hike with the girls, followed by an exclusive, hour-long sauna, cold plunge and hot tub with essential oil-infused salt scrubs. All the while watching the November sun set over the sea.
Meeting at Folkestone Central at 10:30 am, we'll make our way to the coastline, grabbing a coffee—and perhaps a pastry—en route. We'll then head west out of town, following the coast along to Hythe, where we can pause for a light lunch and refreshments before heading back towards Folkestone for our finish.
With exclusive use of the site’s Swedish sauna cabin, plus shared use of the cold plunge (highly recommended), temperate pool and hot tub, and some organic Dead Sea salt scrubs, we’ll leave feeling utterly sublime. For the very brave, there’s even the option to take a dip in the sea—weather permitting!

WHAT TO WEAR
As this is a winter hike, be prepared for cold, changeable weather. Bring plenty of layers, including waterproofs. If it’s dry, comfy trainers will be fine for this hike. If wet, waterproof walking boots may be preferable.
WHAT TO BRING
A swimming costume - changing rooms and warm showers are available at SSS
One or two lightweight towels
A bag (plastic or packable tote) to put your wet things in, post-sauna
A change of clothes if it’s wet on our walk (optional)
At least 2 litres of water
A packed lunch and any snacks you might need during our walk
Flip-flops (optional)
